Wonder World Tour is the third concert tour by South Korean girl group Wonder Girls. The concert tour kicked off in Seoul, South Korea. This would be the Wonder Girls’ 2nd solo concert in Korea since 2009. The concert’s production & planning are done inconjunction with CJ E&M, leading Asian entertainment company, together with management company, JYP Entertainment. == History == The tour was announced by JYP Entertainment several days after the release of their mini-album Wonder Party. The tickets for the tour went on sale through Yes24 and Interpark‘s ticket booth on June 12 at 7PM KST. After stepping away from the domestic market, in order to focus on the American activities. Following that will be our Japanese promotions, the JYP Nation concert in August, our tour concert, and finally a new American album.” The tour will begin with the first concert, entitled ‘Wonder World Tour in Seoul 2012‘, on July 7, 7PM KST at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium. ‘Wonder World‘ refers to the group’s second album, which was released last November in 2011. Parallel Smart Media Alpha Entertainment made an official announcement on 28 June via their Facebook page that they will be bringing the Wonder Girls to Singapore. The 'Wonder World Tour in Singapore 2012' will be held at the Resorts World Sentosa Compass Ballroom on September 8, 2012. For the Seoul concert, notable celebrities guests attended the girls concert, these included: inactive member Sunmi, 2NE1, and Girls' Generation Tiffany and Seohyun are said to have rushed to attend the concert after emceeing MBC‘s live ‘Music Core‘. Others who attended the concert were Leessang, Tiger JK, Kan MiYeon, Min Hyorin, and fellow JYP Entertainment label mates miss A, 2PM, JOO, San E, and J.Y.
